Research on the Impact of Digital Inclusive Finance on the Development Level of Rural E-Commerce
Summary. Digital inclusive finance significantly boosts rural e-commerce development in China, according to analysis of 31 provinces from 2011–2022. The effect holds across robustness tests but varies by region, with stronger impacts in eastern provinces. The authors recommend accelerating digital finance expansion, improving digital infrastructure, customizing financial products, and strengthening policy support.
