Co-design of an optimal distance learning model adapted to rural areas of Morocco in primary school

Judicaël Alladatin, Insaf Al-chikh, Aziz Mimoudi, Ahmed Chebak · 2024 · EDUTEC Journal of Education And Technology

Summary. Researchers in Morocco co-designed a distance learning system for rural primary schools by interviewing principals, teachers, students, and parents to identify problems with existing models. The resulting system includes internet generators for schools, restricted tablets connected to an intranet, and interactive lessons. Teachers receive student feedback and can respond individually or in groups, while parents support home study. The design ensures students access only educational content.
