Navigating Deep Learning Pedagogy in Rural Classrooms: A Qualitative Study on Teacher Readiness and Innovation in Indonesian Elementary Schools

Summary. Teachers in rural Indonesian elementary schools lack sufficient understanding of deep learning approaches and struggle to implement digital innovation in classrooms. Limited training, inadequate infrastructure, weak institutional support, and low self-efficacy create systemic barriers. The study calls for context-specific teacher training programs and supportive school policies to enable sustainable digital transformation in low-resource rural environments.
