Can Solar Power Help Providing Broadband Cellular Coverage in Extreme-Rural Sweden?
Summary. This paper investigates whether solar power can enable broadband cellular coverage in extremely remote areas of Sweden. The authors examine the technical and practical feasibility of combining renewable energy with mobile network infrastructure to serve sparsely populated regions where traditional grid connections are unavailable or uneconomical.
