Summary. Agricultural innovation systems face complex challenges across research, training, extension, and sustainability. This literature review identifies critical gaps and obstacles, finding that farmers and actors consistently demand better access to information and knowledge. The authors recommend involving cooperatives, technological platforms, and farmer organizations as intermediaries, adopting inclusive dialogue for sustainability transitions, and designing policies that improve resource access and market development for sustainable agricultural innovations.
