Agricultural transformation: Exploring the impact of digitalization, technological innovation and climate change on food production
Summary. This study examines how digitalization, technological innovation, and climate change affect food production in China. Using econometric analysis, the researchers find that mobile phone and internet use, along with R&D investment, significantly boost agricultural output over the long term. Rising temperatures reduce food production. The authors recommend governments support digital infrastructure, research funding, and affordable financing to ensure food sustainability and climate adaptation.
