Innovation in the Green Economy: An Extension of the Regional Innovation System Model?

Environmentally pressured firms innovate processes most, while new green companies target local markets. Traditional firms benefit from innovation, but emerging green firms need local network support and additional resources to commercialize new products and reach markets.
