Techno-economic analysis of hybrid renewable energy system for rural electrification in India
Summary. This paper analyzes a hybrid renewable energy system designed to provide reliable, year-round electricity to off-grid rural households in India. The system combines multiple renewable sources to meet seasonal demand variations while maintaining 100% renewable energy. Results show the hybrid system reduces power interruptions and unmet demand while remaining economically viable over 25 years, offering a practical framework for electrifying underserved rural communities.
