IMPACT OF MICROFINANCE ON RURAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN INDIA

Summary. Microfinance in rural India between 2019 and 2023 shows uneven impact across regions despite government schemes and NABARD support. The study examines which entrepreneurial institutions received the most funding, identifies regional disparities in microfinance distribution, and analyzes why some areas benefit more than others. Results reveal that microfinance's positive effects on rural entrepreneurship remain geographically concentrated rather than widely spread.
