Giovanni Battista Dagnino, Gabriella Levanti, Anna Minà, Pasquale Massimo Picone · 2015 · Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing

Summary. This bibliometric study analyzes 67 management research papers on interorganizational networks and innovation published between 1996 and 2012. The authors identify six main research themes: networks supporting firm innovation in specific contexts, network dimensions and knowledge processes, resource and knowledge sharing, firm-network characteristics and innovation effects, empirical research in dynamic industries, and industry-specific network characteristics. The analysis maps the intellectual structure of the field and identifies gaps in current knowledge.
