Improved RLS Algorithm for Voltage Regulation of Wind-Solar Rural Renewable Energy System
Summary. Rural renewable energy systems powered by wind and solar face voltage regulation problems when connected to weak distribution networks. This paper proposes using an improved recursive least squares algorithm to control a grid-connected converter integrated with voltage compensation equipment, enabling better voltage stability despite fluctuating renewable power and irregular load conditions. Simulations demonstrate the approach effectively regulates voltage in these systems.
