The role of technology in the shift towards open innovation: the case of Procter & Gamble

Summary. This paper examines Procter & Gamble's 'Connect and Develop' open innovation strategy to understand how technology enables collaborative innovation. The study reveals that technology is fundamental to implementing open innovation, not merely supportive.
