Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Rural Communities: Early Business Survival Challenges for the Agribusiness Entrepreneur
Summary. This study compares early-stage survival challenges for agribusiness and non-agribusiness entrepreneurs in rural communities. Agribusiness entrepreneurs face distinct skill gaps, execution problems, market constraints, and resource limitations compared to other rural business owners. The two groups adopt fundamentally different strategies to overcome similar barriers to business survival.
