Summary. Islamic social finance mechanisms—zakat, infaq, sedekah, and wakaf—effectively drive economic development in rural Indonesia when local government, zakat institutions, and pesantren work together. The study of Situbondo Regency shows these instruments reduce poverty, boost economic growth, and create sustainable development. Coordinated implementation of Islamic social finance strengthens community economic empowerment in rural areas.
