Simon Fielke, Neels Botha, Janet Reid, David Gray, Paula Blackett, Nicola Park, Tracy Ann Williams · 2017 · The Journal of Agricultural Education and Extension

Summary. This study examines three agricultural innovation projects in New Zealand to identify what makes co-innovation successful. The researchers found that effective co-innovation requires network-level capability and legitimacy, clear understanding of actor priorities, and sufficient resources. The paper presents a conceptual model to guide future co-innovation efforts in agricultural systems.
