Assessing the Impact of Rural Environmental Infrastructure and Green Digital Access on Student Retention in Higher Education: A Case Study of Panipat District, India

In Panipat District, India, power grid failures cause 43% of digital learning disruptions in rural areas, and lack of climate-resilient transit infrastructure increases dropout risk by 34% among rural women. The study of 521 students and dropouts shows strong correlation between solar-powered digital nodes and retention rates. Digital educational access requires environmentally engineered infrastructure systems, not just device distribution.
