Study on rural women entrepreneurship in India: Issues and Challenges

Summary. Rural women entrepreneurs in India face significant barriers to business success, including limited property ownership, poor access to finance, inadequate entrepreneurial training, and low educational levels. The paper identifies that lack of confidence, family obligations, financial institution neglect, and limited networks with successful entrepreneurs prevent rural women from contributing fully to economic development and poverty reduction in their communities.
