Social Network Analysis Uses and Contributions to Innovation Initiatives in Rural Areas: A Review
Summary. Social network analysis reveals how rural innovation spreads through existing social structures. A review of 68 studies shows that network analysis helps researchers understand social capital, track how knowledge and information flow between farmers and foresters, and evaluate whether innovations actually improve local economies. Understanding these networks strengthens communities' ability to adopt and sustain new practices.
