Printed Modular Resources for Mathematics Education: Enhancing Distance Learning in Rural Public Junior High Schools during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Summary. During COVID-19, rural junior high school students in the Philippines received printed mathematics modules as distance learning materials. The study surveyed 607 students and found that module quality and physical features were consistently high across schools. Students' prior mathematics knowledge was also rated high. Differences appeared based on school type, but not by student gender or distance from school.
