Summary. This study maps innovation networks in China's advanced medical equipment industry using patent data from 2005–2024. The Yangtze River Delta region, by contrast, has built a denser polycentric network with Shanghai, Nanjing, and Suzhou as hubs. Economic development, technological capability, and government policy drive network formation, with infrastructure as a key enabler.
