Cost Optimization of an Off-Grid Hybrid Renewable Energy System with Battery Storage for Rural Electrification in Pakistan

The system prioritizes battery discharge to meet demand, bringing biomass online only during peak hours. By reducing biomass operation through strategic battery use, the system cuts fuel consumption, lowers net present cost and electricity costs, making rural electrification economically viable and reliable.
