Summary. This project evaluated demand responsive transport (DRT) services in three rural English regions to understand how flexible, passenger-adjusted transit systems help residents access education, employment, and social opportunities. Researchers surveyed and interviewed residents in DRT service areas and comparable non-DRT areas to measure differences in transport perceptions and local satisfaction, while gathering detailed usage data from actual DRT users.
