Summary. A study of five Malaysian Indigenous ICT entrepreneurs reveals that implementing research and development activities is the key approach for developing organizational innovation in small ICT firms. The research identifies R&D as the pertinent strategy that Indigenous-owned technology companies should adopt to cultivate innovation within their organizations.
