Stakeholder dynamics in rural Lebanese women’s entrepreneurship
Summary. Rural women entrepreneurs in Lebanon face significant barriers including limited resource access, restrictive societal norms, and constrained markets. Community support and tailored training programs prove essential for success, yet government involvement remains minimal, with NGOs and mentors filling the gap. The study identifies targeted interventions and inclusive policies as necessary to advance gender equality and sustainable entrepreneurship in rural areas.
