Dynamically Managing Load and Supply in a Rural Off-grid MicroGrid
Summary. This paper documents a rural off-grid microgrid pilot project designed to address energy poverty in remote locations. The authors examine infrastructure challenges, supply and load management strategies, key technologies deployed, and management approaches. Community engagement and education emerge as critical factors in successful implementation and operation of the microgrid system.
