Model Innovation and Practical Exploration of Digital Economy Empowering Rural Low-Carbon Development

Xuange Lu · 2026 · Academic journal of management and social sciences

Summary. This paper proposes three digital economy models—smart agriculture, green e-commerce, and digital cultural tourism—to enable rural low-carbon development in China. The study identifies practical bottlenecks including technological adaptation, digital literacy, and coordination challenges, then offers solutions through technological optimization, skills training, institutional reform, and industry collaboration. The work connects macro policy to local practice and provides replicable pathways for rural areas to achieve emissions reduction across production, circulation, and consumption.
