Revitalizing Rural Wealth: Uncovering the Potential of Local Resources through Coffee Cake and Jackfruit Cake Innovations for Sustainable Community Development
Summary. A service project in rural Indonesia developed new coffee cake and jackfruit cake products through collaboration between culinary experts, local businesses, and community members. The innovations increased rural household incomes, strengthened local cultural identity, and attracted tourism. The work demonstrates how processing local agricultural resources into value-added food products supports sustainable economic development in rural communities.
