Women Entrepreneurship: Problems Faced by Rural Women Entrepreneurs in Sindh Province of Pakistan
Summary. Rural women entrepreneurs in Sindh Province, Pakistan face significant barriers to business success. A study of 375 women entrepreneurs identified major obstacles including lack of family cooperation, limited access to credit, complex loan procedures, poor marketing facilities, and inadequate transportation. The research recommends improving family support, providing training and guidance, expanding microcredit programs, and strengthening marketing and transport infrastructure to enable rural women's entrepreneurial development.
