Nicholas E. Matthews, Laurence Stamford, Philip Shapira · 2019 · Sustainable Production and Consumption

Summary. This paper develops a Constructive Sustainability Assessment framework that combines life-cycle thinking with responsible research and innovation principles to evaluate emerging technologies. The approach enables scientists, engineers, and policymakers to govern emerging technologies toward sustainability outcomes.
