Summary. Agricultural bio-input innovations in Argentina and Brazil offer sustainable alternatives to synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. The study surveyed 14 bio-input companies and found active development of nitrogen-fixing inoculants, bio-fertilizers for plant growth, and bio-pesticides for pest control. Emerging technologies include phytovaccines to strengthen plant immunity and bio-herbicides to reduce synthetic herbicide use. Domestic companies drive these innovations, positioning developing countries to build bio-economy growth.
