Development of Renewable Energy Sources in the Context of Threats Resulting from Low-Altitude Emissions in Rural Areas in Poland: A Review
Summary. Poland's rural economy relies heavily on coal, creating severe air pollution from household emissions. This paper reviews how renewable energy sources—particularly agricultural biogas plants, wind farms, and solar installations—can reduce low-altitude emissions and improve rural sustainability. Developing these renewable technologies is essential for transforming Poland's rural energy systems and supporting long-term rural development.
