Rural entrepreneurship challenges and development: the case of Albanian women entrepreneurs in North Macedonia

Summary. Rural women entrepreneurs in North Macedonia, particularly Albanian women, face significant barriers to business success. This study interviewed 20 women in rural villages near Tetovo to identify specific challenges they encounter and develop solutions. The research reveals obstacles to rural women's entrepreneurship and proposes recommendations for overcoming them, contributing to understanding of how to support this underrepresented group.
