A Comparative Study of Renewable Energy Sources for Power Generation in Rural Areas

Summary. This paper develops a Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis framework to compare renewable energy sources for rural power generation. The framework evaluates solar, wind, hydro, and biomass power across economic feasibility, environmental impact, and technical feasibility. The analysis provides recommendations for selecting the most suitable renewable energy source to meet rural energy needs and reduce fossil fuel dependence.
