Summary. Pakistan's Balochistan province faces severe rural electrification challenges due to dispersed populations and distant grid infrastructure. This paper evaluates renewable energy sources—particularly solar and wind—alongside conventional options like coal and LPG to electrify remote areas. The analysis demonstrates that Balochistan possesses abundant renewable energy potential and identifies optimal strategies for deploying these resources to address the province's power shortage and rural access gaps.
