Theory and application of Agricultural Innovation Platforms for improved irrigation scheme management in Southern Africa

By fostering interaction between previously disconnected subsystems and stakeholders, these platforms build adaptive capacity, increase market-oriented production, and help farmers escape poverty more effectively than traditional infrastructure-focused interventions.
