Did the cyberspace foster the entrepreneurship of women with children in rural China?
Summary. Internet access significantly promotes entrepreneurship among rural mothers in China by enabling three key mechanisms: improving gender equality perceptions, providing business information and learning opportunities, and facilitating access to financing. The study demonstrates that cyberspace adoption directly supports self-managed enterprise creation among women with children in less developed rural areas.
