Assessing school heads’ leader innovative behaviours and sustainability of innovations in Gweru rural primary schools, Zimbabwe

Summary. School heads in rural Zimbabwe show inconsistent innovative leadership behaviors, with some practices used frequently and others rarely applied. The study finds that schools lack the resources and organizational culture needed to sustain innovation efforts. Researchers recommend training school heads to develop consistent innovative leadership that can drive and maintain innovation in rural primary schools.
