Rural Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Development
Summary. Rural women in agriculture and allied activities constitute a major workforce but remain underempowered. The paper argues that microenterprises offer an effective path for women's economic empowerment by leveraging their existing skills and available time. Technical training and enterprise development enable rural women to increase productivity and drive family and community development while contributing to national economic growth.
