Key factors influencing organizational innovation in small rural food industries: Case study of Iran

Summary. This study examines organizational innovation in small rural food industries in Tehran Province, Iran. The research identifies key factors driving innovation: firm age negatively affects incremental innovation, while product diversification and production capacity positively influence it. For radical innovation, production capacity, product diversification, and manager experience boost adoption, while competition intensity reduces it. The findings provide recommendations for strengthening organizational innovation in these rural food firms.
