The influence of distance traveled on student learning motivation: education in rural areas

Summary. Distance traveled to school does not reduce student learning motivation in rural areas, according to quantitative analysis of rural students. The researchers used descriptive statistics and Kruskal-Wallis testing to examine whether commute distance affected educational motivation. Despite common assumptions that distance creates barriers to rural education, the study found motivation remained unaffected by travel distance, suggesting other factors may be more important in shaping student engagement.
