The impact of the digital divide on rural older People's mental quality of life: A conditional process analysis
Summary. The digital divide harms rural older people's mental quality of life in China, with effects varying by age and education. Information acquisition ability mediates this relationship, meaning the ability to access quality information reduces the negative impact of limited digital access. The study reveals that improving digital access and information quality can enhance mental wellbeing for rural elderly populations.
