Design And Analysis Of Solar Pv-Fuel Cell-Battery Based Hybrid Renewable Energy System (Hres) For Off-Grid Electrification In Rural Areas

Suresh Vendoti · 2018 · i-manager’s Journal on Instrumentation and Control Engineering

Summary. This paper designs and simulates a hybrid renewable energy system combining solar photovoltaic panels, fuel cells, and batteries to provide electricity to off-grid rural areas. The system uses a multi-level inverter to convert power and was modeled and tested in MATLAB/Simulink. The research addresses energy storage challenges and demonstrates how combining multiple renewable sources and storage technologies can reliably supply rural electrification.
