Entrepreneurship in the rural context: Practical reflection on success and innovation
Summary. Rural entrepreneurs identify key factors driving their success and innovation: strong customer service, hard work, social skills, competitive pricing, and accurate record-keeping. Training helps entrepreneurs avoid common mistakes. The study recommends that government and private sector increase support for rural entrepreneurs to counter the trend of rural-to-urban migration.
