Tatin Wahyanto, Saufa Taslima, Muhammad Frangki Tumanggor · 2024 · Jurnal Ilmiah METADATA

Summary. Researchers evaluated portable radiography technology in five rural health centers in North Sumatra, Indonesia, comparing them against five control centers using conventional methods. The intervention group achieved 92.5% diagnostic accuracy versus 78% baseline, and reduced diagnostic wait times from 180 to 45 minutes. Patient satisfaction increased to 88% in intervention centers. The findings demonstrate that portable radiography significantly improves diagnostic accuracy, workflow efficiency, and patient outcomes in rural primary healthcare settings.
