Analysis of the Correlation Between Intellectual Property Trade and Indigenous Innovation in China

Summary. China's intellectual property imports, exports, and domestic innovation show stable long-term relationships. IP imports significantly drive indigenous innovation, with growing impact over time. Domestic innovation also promotes both IP imports and exports, with stronger effects on exports. IP imports and exports influence each other bidirectionally. These findings suggest China should tailor innovation and trade strategies to different development periods.
