Summary. Rural communities in Ghana and Kenya are adopting climate-resilient innovations to strengthen food security and incomes. In Ghana, Open Ghana established dry-season gardens using solar water pumps and village savings schemes, enabling vulnerable farmers to grow vegetables year-round. In Kenya, innovator Joe Ouko developed LOFODA-G-Meal, a locally-formulated feed from leaves, herbs, and mineral salts that doubled dairy goat milk production and created new income streams.
